The subject matter of the direct procurement is one electrically powered cremator furnace as follows: - One electrically powered cremator - Options (a second equivalent electric furnace, and a 10-year maintenance agreement including the relining of the furnaces) In other respects, the direct procurement procedure does not amend the terms of the original invitation to tender or the draft agreement, nor are any substantial changes made to the invitation to tender. From the supplier’s perspective, the subject matter of the procurement does not change as a result of the above-mentioned modification, since the supplier has still been required to offer two electrically powered cremator furnaces (1+1).Accordingly, the procurement will be carried out in compliance with the terms and conditions set out in the original invitation to tender and its appendices. Therefore, the contracting authority is entitled to carry out a direct procurement pursuant to Section 40(1)(1) of the Procurement Act. For the sake of clarity, it is stated that the contracting authority implementing the procurement is Pirkanmaan Krematorio Oy.
